SEO + "quick wins" for an e-commerce with more traffic
Without sound technical optimisation, Google will not know how to identify the type of content found on the web pages.
THE BRIEF
Leverage all the potential of search engines and find out why the Cocinista website did not achieve the desired traffic.
Objectives
SEO + “quick wins” for an e-commerce with more traffic
Increase visits from search engines, optimise the website and turn it into an exemplary e-commerce tool in Google’s eyes for following its guidelines.
The strategy
Understand the current situation of the e-commerce to determine if it was optimised or needed improvements and identify the “quick wins” to be more efficient with the actions to be applied.
Following this analysis, greater focus was placed on the technical side, where most of the errors occurred. Once these were resolved, priority was given to the content and off-page section, for which we developed an action plan with all the SEO tasks to be recommended in order to achieve the main objective.
The solution
In order to achieve the objective and implement the established strategy, we conducted an SEO Audit:
Identify all the weak points of the website that needed to be improved, for example: loading speed, web linking, structured data (product, business, recipes, etc.), among others. The technical part was the most explored and most extensive section of the study.
SUCCESS IN THE DATA
The project centred around SEO consultancy, so much of the good results are due to technical improvements such as the implementation of structured data:
"SEO has cooked up very good results for an e-commerce".
